#909 Confederate Foot Trousers
Our trousers are made of wool (see listing above) with cotton drill facings and pockets. The fly is lined with lightweight cotton to make it more flexible for buttoning. The vent closure is a tie through eyelet holes on the back of the waistband to allow for waist adjustment. (Belt Back may also be had, Specify) There is a dart on the back of each side that makes the trousers taper into the waistband. Each pair has a watch pocket and side seam pockets (or Mule Ear Pockets, Specify). If we hem them, they will have a 1 inch overlapping vent.
Real bone buttons are attached on front closure and suspender attachment.

Confederate Mounted Trousers
The Mounted trousers are made of wool with cotton drill facings and pockets. The fly is lined with lightweight cotton to make it more flexible for buttoning. The mounted trousers have a reinforced seat and leg. The vent closure is a tie through eyelet holes on the back of the waistband to allow for waist adjustment. (Belt Back may also be had, Specify) There is a dart on the back of each side that makes the trousers taper into the waistband. Each pair has a watchpocket only. Two watch pocket styles are: Watch pocket with band and Watch pocket without band.). Side seam pockets or Mule Ear Pockets may be had upon request, Specify). If we hem them, they will have a 1 inch overlapping vent. Mounted trousers often had "foot straps" buttoned onto the end of the cuff to keep the trousers in one's boots. (this item is listed in the options list at the top of the page)

#500 Suspenders $27.50
The material used for most all suspenders in the period 1830 through
1870 was linen. Cotton wore too quickly and leather was subject
to stretching, cracking and breaking. We produce suspenders of
linen with leather ends for buttoning, having brass adjustment
buckles. These are plain affairs intended to do an excellent job
of holding up your trousers. The intent is that you will appear
to be military (or sensible civilian) person of the period. These are left long so it is a one size fits all that can be adjusted to suit your own needs.
