#6016PC Waterproofed Cotton $105.95
#6016C Cotton $99.50
#6016L Linen $136.00
(White, Brown and black color linen are available. These are not waterproofed)
Before sewing buttons on the gaiters fit them to your leg over your stockings and breeches or trousers as tightly as possible and take a pencil and mark through the buttonholes for the button placement. Sew the buttons where marked. The 18th Century gaiters and half gaiters are to protect the legs from brush and brambles and are to fit the legs tightly and not slide down while walking. This makes it necessary for you to sew your own buttons on over the stockings and breeches or trousers fitting them as snug as possible. This means the buttons may not be set right on the edge but be in farther in order to help achieve this tight fit. It is extremely hard to make the gaiters tight enough for your legs and get all the buttons on the edge so please move them in where needed.
#WL6017 Wool Leggings $60.00
#BL250 Leather garter with brass buckle for Wool Leggings $32.20
(Specify black or brown) (if you do not specify a color they will be made in black leather)
#212RW Half Gaiter / Splatter Dash Gaiters $77.95
This military legging was worn by most line troops during the latter part of the 18th Century and early part of the 19th Century. Ours is made of black treated weatherproof drill and furnished with pewter buttons. The final size is adjusted by where you sew the buttons. We have found these most satisfactory for our Rev War impressions. These have a cloth piece that goes under the foot. These are painted and can not be laundered.
#212RWBC Half / Splatter Dash Gaiters $64.95
These are the same pattern as above but made from black cotton. These are not waterproofed. These can be laundered.
