#900 Confederate Sack Coat
This is a loose fitting jacket that extends halfway down the thigh. The
Southern product was often lined (ours is furnished unlined) and generally had
one or more pockets on the outside (ours has one outside lower left pocket,
specify if you wish to add another). Fronts had various numbers of buttons,
four, six, and seven being the most common. (Ours has seven unless you request
otherwise.) Today, we fail to appreciate the great quantity of these garments
that were actually used during the mid and late war period. Some serious
inspection of photographs taken of Confederate troops in service, especially the
casualties, will reveal a surprising number of sack coats in use.

#NC900 North Carolina Sack Coat
According to the Regulations for the Uniform Dress and Equipment, of the Volunteers and State Troops of North Carolina : the uniform coat for all enlisted men shall be a sack coat of gray cloth extending half way down the thigh, and made loose, with falling collar, and an inside pocket on each breast, six coat buttons down the front, commencing at the throat; a strip of cloth sewn on each shoulder (epaulette), extending from the base of the collar to the shoulder seam, an inch and a half wide at the base of the collar, and two inches wide at the shoulder; this strip will be a black cloth for Infantry, red for Artillery and yellow for Cavalry.

#901 Common Shell Jacket
This is a well fitting, simple "round about" waist length jacket utilized throughout the war in all service branches. This is the jacket to use for cavalry and artillery, as well as infantry. Construction of the coat is a six piece body with two piece sleeves. All jackets are fully lined in cotton osnaburg
(you may request that we line the body and sleeves with a plaid or print cotton) and have one inside left breast pocket sewn onto the facing of the coat that is entered horizontally from the facing. (Optional: outside left breast pocket. (Specify) The collar is stand up with a slight angle in front to allow the chin some freedom. The jacket collar and front bottom edge are squared. The coat has a seven button front unless otherwise specified. This is a basic shell jacket that could be worn in any theater for Confederate service.

#907 Enlisted Foot Pattern Overcoat
These coats are single breasted made of heavy wool with a stand and fall collar and lined with either wool or heavy cotton such as ticking or drill. (Specify) The cuff can be made with or without the "pull down" style (Specify) This coat has an elbow length cape and a belt back. Each has a five button front with six buttons on the cape. The back belt has two buttons for adjustments. This coat has no pockets. The tail of the coat is left raw, as were originals.

Enlisted Mounted Pattern Overcoat
Made of heavy wool with a stand and fall collar and lined in wool or cotton. They can be made with or without (specify) the pull down cuffs. The Mounted Overcoat has a double breasted front (two rows of 6 buttons) and a 12 button cape. The cape extends to the wrist and it has a belt back with 2 buttons for adjustment. This coat has no pockets. The tail of the coat is left raw, as were originals.

The Civilian Vest has a lay-down lapel, two lower outside pockets,
one on either side with cotton back and lining. It is
equally as good for Confederate or Civilian use. The vest has

#912 Military Cut Vest
This Military cut vest has the traditional nine-button front and stand-up collar as known in the 1800's. The back and lining is cotton with three outside pockets (1breast and 2 lower), and leather wear strips on the inside lower edge.
